Little Princess, Little Princess,
please stay asleep.
For the world is a'changin'
and your youth you will not keep.
Beauty is a sacred grace,
like an angel posed upon your face.
Follow your sweet eyelids to a new
and wonderous place.
Where dragons are for ridin'
to enchantment far away.
And in your dreams you may play
for all too brief a stay.
Let now the faeries make your keep,
while on a star so far away
Please darling princess,
stay asleep and play.
For harkened by the morning moon,
You will grow up far too soon.
